Dinesh Samtani began his media career in August 2000 as a foundation member of Masala 101.1FM, the station that most people credit for love of fusion music today in the Caribbean.

In 2005 he became the co host of the first Chutney Soca video countdown show called Dynasty Chutney on Synergy TV, which ran until 2008.

In 2008 Dinesh, with the assistance of Raj Baichan, DJ Roy, DJ Promo and a team of talented DJs brought Bacchanal Radio to life.

In his 20 years in media, he has functioned in many roles with an ultimate goal and objective to take the culture to an even higher level.

Despite being in the entertainment industry for 2 decades, Dinesh prefers the quiet, easy going life and spends most of his free time with family.

His aim is to ensure that Bacchanal Radio stays at the forefront of it’s market while all the while exploring, developing and growing in other markets, thereby putting internet radio, in general, on an even playing field with the more traditional terrestrial radio stations.
